Psoriasis (pronounced "sore-EYE-ah-sis") is an inflammatory skin disease where the skin cells grow too quickly resulting in white, silvery or red, thick patches. In healthy skin, the skin cells mature in approximately four weeks but with psoriasis they can mature in as little as three to four days, resulting in flaky build-up. What are probiotics?
